The Son of A Mother
This coming Mothers day, I wish the best mothers in the whole world, including mothers that fostered the cradle of humanity in their blessed wombs.
I am a Marian Devotee and believing the holiness of all mothers propelled me to mother myself by trying everyday to be a good person to everyone I meet
Today, I found the letter my mom wrote in behalf for my dad, written years ago and it reminded me that Motherhood is not only limited to women but to both parents. It gives me a holistic approach on how love operates and also as the child receives it profoundly becomes a better child and soon a wonderful parent.
I cannot say I am a wonderful parent since I am not a parent yet. I am still a child in heart and a rockstar uncle to my wonderful nephew and nieces. Hence, I have no excuse not to be a better person to my siblings so that they will be better parents to their children. It’s a sacrifice for a wanna be rockstar to be a good boy since rocking is my only excuse to belong to a calm and well behave family I have.
Happy Mothers Day to all. If a national artist shall be crowned “it shall be all mothers of all nationality.”
